'Spirit of the Sea' is a collection of earrings that I make from sea bird feathers that I wild forage. Finding perfect, undamaged feathers is a real challenge along the wild, Welsh shores. As such, each one is unique and un-replicable. I gather these beautiful feathers, wash them and create items of beauty with much honour, reverence and gratidude, for the bird that they have come from and the journey that they have been on.
 
It is very rare to find two, almost identical, feathers, and so this pair is extremely unique. I have combined the feathers with Smokey Quartz gemstones, which compliments them beautifully and brings a nice sense of balance between the elements of earth and air.

Properties of Smokey quartz:
It gently neutralises negative vibrations and is detoxifying on all levels, prompting elimination of the digestive system and protecting against radiation and electromagnetic smog. It disperses fear, lifts depression and negativity. It grounds to earth through the root chakra.
 
Each one comes infused with blessings and charged with beautiful Reiki energy.
It hangs on a delicate Sterling Silver ear wire at a length of approx. 14cm.
